The Great Christmas Light Show

Nov. 4–Dec. 30, 2025

The Great Christmas Light Show at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex dazzles with more than two million lights and hundreds of festive displays. After completing the two-mile, drive-through route, stop by Santa’s Village. It’s open Thursday through Sunday nights from November 8 through December 7. There, you can meet Santa, sip hot chocolate, savor s’mores, and take a ride on the holiday train. Gates for the Great Christmas Light Show open nightly from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day).

Winter Wonderland at the Beach

Nov. 28, 2025–Jan. 3, 2026

The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is open in December, and it brings plenty of holiday cheer to the downtown oceanfront all month long. From late November through early January, the seaside walkway is home to one of the best Christmas light shows in Myrtle Beach. The annual Winter Wonderland at the Beach event features a light display along the Boardwalk and at Plyler Park nightly from 5 to 9 p.m., turning the shoreline into a sparkling winter scene.
