1| Attractions at Broadway at the Beach

Broadway at the Beach is full of fun for the whole family. It’s the only place you can pose for a Most Wanted poster, build your own teddy bear, pet a stingray, and see a celebrity up close and personal. Check out these amazing attractions found at Broadway at the Beach.

Penguins, sharks, and stingrays – oh my! Explore the world under the sea at Ripley’s Aquarium. Guests will have the chance to pick up a horseshoe crab, pet a stingray, and watch mermaids swim with the fishes.
Wonderworks is more than just wonder-full. With hands-on science exhibits, laser tag, an indoor ropes course, and a 6D motion ride, there is no end to the fun and excitement you will experience at WonderWorks.
Top Golf is one of the newest attractions to the Broadway at the Beach family. Guests can practice their swing on the high-tech driving range. Afterward, take a seat in their stylish bar and lounge where you can watch the latest sports game with a group of friends, a bucket of beers, and some delicious bites.
Solve the puzzles and crack the clues before the clock runs out. Teams of 6-8 people will have 60 minutes to solve the mystery and unlock the door. Escapes Games at Broadway at the Beach has three different themed rooms to choose from.
Mirror Maze is 2,000 square feet of reflective entertainment. Guests will have to find their way through mirrored passages with unexpected turns, continuous circles, and deadends. For a bigger challenge, try the kaleidoscope glasses for more intense reflections and colors.
Your kids will think they have stepped onto the set of a Jurassic Park movie when you take them to explore the Dino Park at Broadway at the Beach. See 20 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs in their natural habitat, dig through the “desert” looking for a Dino Fossil, or take a ride on a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The park is also available to rent for private birthday parties.
Meet your favorite celebrity and even take a photo with them at the Hollywood Wax Museum. You will celebrities ranging from The Rock to Clint Eastwood to Marilyn Monroe. Dress up and pose for your very own WANTED poster. From cowboy hats and bandanas to shotguns and pistols, Old Tyme Portraits has a huge selection of props and costumes to choose from. And you’ll love the realistic western backdrops.   

Jump into the world of the Simpsons at the Aztec Theater. This 4D experience is full of animation and special effects that you will see, feel, and hear. Shows run every 15 minutes. After the show, stop by the Kwik-E-Mart for a Buzz Cola and Lard Lad Donut. Don’t forget to snap a photo with the Simpsons at their red carpet premiere.

Enjoy live performances by the classics like Elvis Presley, the Blue Brothers, and Cher or the more recent greats like Katy Perry, Lucke Bryan, and Taylor Swift. You will think you are at a real concert as these celebrity look-a-likes sing, dance, and perform the biggest hits. Performances change regularly so be sure to check the website for who is currently showing.
If you are visiting Myrtle Beach during the Minor League Baseball season (first week of April – first week of September), don’t miss out on a Myrtle Beach Pelicans game. Tickets are very affordable, and the hotdogs are delicious. And after every home, there are fireworks that can be enjoyed from all around the stadium.

Dave & Busters at Broadway at the Beach could fall into many categories of this guide. Yes, they serve food. Yes, they have a sports bar. Yes, they have tons of arcade games and virtual reality games. Yes, you can host your next party there. So for all-around entertainment, check out Dave & Busters where you can eat, drink, and play.

From the classic teddy bear to Baby Yoda, Minions, and Olaf, the options are endless at Build-A-Bear Workshop. After you build your stuffed animal, place its heart inside, and even add a voice recording, head over to the clothing and accessories section. Dress up your stuffed animal with your favorite sports team or like a Disney character. Don’t forget to register your new favorite friend with a name and have their birth certificate printed out.

2| Rides at Broadway at the Beach

Jump on and let’s take a ride! From Ferris wheels to go-karts and more, Broadway at the Beach has rides for kids from one to ninety-two and everything in between. 

Be sure to hold on tight when you take a ride on the Beach Rider Jet Boat in Lake Broadway. This ride isn’t your typical board ride. This jet boat can perform amazing maneuvers like a Hamilton 360* spin, turning 360 degrees while still traveling forward.

Pavilion Park | 1171 Celebrity Cir.

Those who vacationed in Myrtle Beach prior to 2006 remember the ocean amusement park, The Pavilion. Moving some of the rides from there and adding a few new, Broadway at the Beach has created the Pavilion Park. For young children, check out the Fun Park with a Ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and other kid-sized rides. For young adults and older, check out the Action Park with rides that spin and turn, high and fast. Please note, during the winter months, the rides are closed for maintenance and repairs. They re-open normally around Valentine’s Day.

Play Park | 1320 Celebrity Cir.

For pre-school and elementary age kids, the Play Park at Broadway at the Beach is perfect. This playground sits along Lake Broadway with vendors nearby for snacks and drinks to enjoy. And it’s free!

With 7 go-kart tracks, a rock climbing wall, rides for toddlers, and two mini-golf courses, hours of fun will be had at Broadway Grand Prix. This indoor and outdoor recreation complex also has a snack bar and arcade.
See Broadway at the Beach from a totally different perspective when you take a breathtaking helicopter tour at Helicopter Adventures. Tours start at a 2-mile introductory flight but can be expanded to as far as 40-42 miles in the air.
Splash, swim and float for hours at Myrtle Waves Water Park. With over 30 water slides and attractions and 1.2 million gallons of water, you and your family can easily cool off during those hot summer months.
Soar & Explore is an outdoor extension of WonderWorks featuring a zipline over Lake Broadway and a ropes course 40 feet in the air. The zipline spans 1000 feet from end to end and sends participants soaring 50 feet in the air. The ropes course has three levels and 33 challenge aspects. The course becomes progressively harder the higher you climb.

If you love cooking and all things food, stop by the Paula Deen Store. They sell cookware, cookbooks, recipe mixes, home accessories, and more. The store is located on the main floor of the Paula Deen Restaurant.

Find collectibles of all sorts at the Hollywood Heroes & Villains shop featuring your favorite TV shows, cartoons, comic books, and movies. You can purchase memorabilia including t-shirts, toys, drinkware, and more. This specialty shop is located next to Rack Room Shoes.
