Monterey Bay Resort Kids Club: Family Fun for all
Monterey Bay’s kids club will be starting up this year around Memorial Day weekend and run through the end of August, and the whole family is invited!
“We really have a family-based clientele here at Monterey Bay,” said Ashley Aldridge, front office manager at Monterey Bay. “Because of that, we like to do more family-oriented activities. We really want to give the family opportunities to do stuff together.”
The full schedule of the kids club hasn’t been set in stone at this point, but Aldridge recommended families check back on the Monterey Bay website before their trip so they can be sure to plan their days accordingly.
“We put that information online, that way when families are planning their itinerary, they can say, ‘oh, we want to have breakfast by this time this day so we can get our faces painted,’” Aldridge said.
There will be a variety of arts and crafts and entertainment activities planned. “We do pool games—last year we had a couple of rubber duck races in the lazy river. On the 4th of July we do patriotic crafts, we’ve had picture frames they can glue shells on. There’s something for everyone. We really don’t want to exclude anyone,” Aldridge said.
There’s even the possibility in the coming year of adding fire shows, magicians and stilt walkers to the lineup. “We’re doing something different all the time,” Aldridge said.
So before your trip to Monterey Bay in Myrtle Beach this summer, check back for the kids club activity calendar, and get ready to have fun the whole family can enjoy!
