Carolina Opry Christmas Special – Nov.1st – Jan.4th
Come one, come all – to the biggest Christmas show in the Carolinas! The Carolina Opry, an award winning performance group, is celebrating the 28th season of what is affectionately known as “The Christmas Show of The South”. The show features upbeat Christmas music and beautifully choreographed dancing and will keep you singing along the whole time. Tickets can be purchased online or the day of the show, but buying early is encouraged because many of the shows sell out quickly!
Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland – Nov.8th – Jan.5th
Gather friends and family and make a trip to the Myrtle Beach Pelican’s Stadium for the area’s only drive through Christmas display. This display features millions of LED lights that are programmed to perform to Christmas music. It is truly a one of a kind experience and one that you definitely won’t want to miss out on during your stay in Myrtle Beach! Tickets can be purchased in advance or when you arrive.
Dickens Christmas Show & Festival – Nov.14th – 17th
If you are looking for the area’s biggest and best Christmas festival then look no farther than the Dickens Christmas Show! This cheerful event gathers a variety of vendors and performers at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center for an entire weekend of fun. You can find everything from arts & crafts, toys, Christmas décor to food items, jewelry, and home furnishings – and everything in between. There will be holiday performances and exhibits and appearances from Santa himself. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event.
“Goodbye to 75” Celebration – Nov.22nd
Help the city of Myrtle Beach celebrate 75 years of family fun at the “Goodbye to 75” party at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. This event will feature live beach music by Greg Rowles and plenty of activities for guests, like dancing, food, pictures, games, and more! This event takes place from 5:30-8:30 pm and tickets can be purchased by calling (843) 448-8379.
Broadway at The Beach Tree Lighting – Nov.23rd
Pack up the family and head to Broadway at The Beach on Saturday, November 23rd for an evening full of festive fun. The event will feature live, local artists performing holiday songs leading up to the main event – the lighting of the Broadway Tree! The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show over Lake Broadway. This event takes place from 6pm - 8pm.
Surfside Beach Turkey Trot – Nov.28
Get a head start on tackling those Turkey Day calories at the annual surfside Beach Turkey Trot. This event offers a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile portion and a free Tot Trot for children. The route begins and ends at the ocean and goes throughout the scenic town of Surfside Beach. Each race begins promptly at 8:30 am and interested participants can sign up online.
A Christmas Carol – Nov.29th – Dec.1st
This traditional holiday show is the perfect way to end Thanksgiving and kick start the Christmas Season. The story tells the tale of Scrooge, a grumpy old business man who is visited by three Christmas spirits. He realizes that he has lived a selfish life and is given a second chance to become a more compassionate, generous person. This show takes place at the Atlantic Theater and tickets can be purchased in advance or at the show.
